This article reviews the development of table tennis. Table tennis originated in the United Kingdom at the end of the 19th century, the original equipment is very simple, because of its interesting and challenging, gradually spread in the public group, and gradually standardized. Until 1988, table tennis was listed as an official Olympic sport, which greatly enhanced the status and influence of table tennis.
